Other: For nearly 48 hours, student teams worked on a project based on providing a student perspective to a new DCP building that would support the college’s values and vision for a collaborative and multi-functional building.

I took on the role as leader and collaborated with students studying various design and construction disciplines, such as architecture, interior design, urban planning, and engineering.

 

My contribution encompassed the branding and marketing aspect, as I consolidated and organized all of the work and research into a powerpoint presentation that would be submitted and delivered as a means to communicate both our design ideas and team synergy.

 

According to the judges, they selected us as the winning due to our strong integration of the new building to the existing facilities, along with our unity as team as we exemplified the meaning of the new building in creating a sense of collaboration.
